FAQ
-
Why do we use the Weekly Service + Chemicals model?
Our Weekly Service + Chemicals model means you’re billed a base fee per visit, with chemicals (like chlorine) charged separately. This approach ensures transparency and allows our technicians the flexibility to provide the best care for your pool’s unique needs.
-
Why is a working pool sweep required?
A functional pool sweep is key to keeping your pool clean and circulating properly. Without it, debris can build up, chemical use increases, and your system may suffer damage over time.
-
Can I supply my own chemicals?
We don’t allow customers to provide their own chemicals. This ensures we’re using only the highest-quality, trusted products to maintain your pool’s safety, health, and longevity.
-
Filter Cleans
Quarterly filter cleans are essential to your pool’s health and help prevent costly repairs and keep your system running smoothly. We follow manufacturer guidelines to ensure optimal performance.
-
Cover Pumps
Before it rains, please place your cover pump on the pool cover to prevent water buildup or damage. If it’s left out in a visible, accessible spot, our technician will place it during your regular visit.
-
Inclement Weather
During rain or severe weather, we focus on water chemistry and balancing to keep your pool in good shape. For safety, full cleanings may be limited and visit times shortened—but we always make up for it on the next visit with extra attention to debris and equipment.
-
Excess Debris
Our technicians are only on-site briefly each week, so it’s the homeowner’s responsibility to help manage debris like leaves, branches, and dirt between visits. Excess debris—especially on pool covers—can prevent us from safely servicing your pool and may lead to damage or costly repairs. If this becomes a recurring issue, a debris fee may apply.
-
Short-Term Rentals (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.)
For vacation rentals, we recommend twice-weekly service during warmer months. This keeps the pool guest-ready, protects your equipment, and ensures a safe, clean swimming environment.
-
What if I need help after hours or on weekends?
While we’re not a 24/7 company, we do our best to be available when something urgent comes up. If you need help after hours or on a weekend, feel free to reach out—we’ll respond as soon as possible. Please note that some after-hours visits may include a trip fee.
